TEACHING ETHOS

As a visual communication educator, I aspire to create a fun and welcoming learning environment for emerging professionals. In the classroom, I create a positive educational environment which facilitates growth, exploration, and creativity. Through guided feedback, I strive to prepare others with the tools needed to succeed in design, public relations, and advertising while developing student confidence in pursuing personal interests and ideas.

I support immersive hands-on projects and technology-driven instruction to enhance student engagement and practical skill development. My pedagogical goals are informed by my experience as an Adobe Digital Studio Intern at Clemson University, where I provided software support, developed digital and print media, and conducted Adobe workshops. As an Instructional Associate and Classroom Facilitator at Syracuse University, I taught undergraduate, graduate, and military students Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma while managing course operations, including assessment activities.

My approach to feedback leverages structured critique and iterative design processes to enable and support students in their development as visual communication professionals. The following are a list of courses that I had the pleasure of assisting.
